Magnificient Iroquois longhouse

This desirable residence is located in a town protected by a strong wooden wall. This impressive property houses 15 families. The main body is built of bark. A framework of bent saplings forms a row of arches. This is covered by sturdy sheets of birch and elm-bark to make a waterproof covering.

The inside is comfortable, with a row of fires and smoke holes down the middle. Benches with furs are down each side of the house. A screen will divide you from your neighbour.

For those buyers who prefer a private house, we have a superb range of wigwams. They are dome shaped, and strongly built of bent saplings tied together at the top. These are finished with sheets of conifer bark.
