Point of view

 

Not every word in the sources is true. A lot of authors had their own point of view. If they took part in the events, they might belong to one side or the other. Often, they had opinions, or feelings, about what had happened. Some writers might be pleased, or proud. Others could be sad, or afraid. Their points of view sometimes made them exaggerate (say things were better or worse than they really were).
