Islam

Islam began in Arabia around 1,400 years ago. People who follow Islam are Muslims. Muslims call God Allah. They believe his last prophet was Muhammad, who died in 632 A.D. The Islamic holy book is the Koran, which Muslims believe Muhammad wrote. There are 1.2 billion Muslims today. Most of them live in Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh and India.
