A Holiday in Ulster
People reading about the troubles in Northern Ireland or seeing the damage caused by bombs on television, probably imagine that the country is one big battlefield. The opposite is true. Many areas of Northern Ireland are beautiful and peaceful.
Because the country is only 5,500 square miles (14,250 sq. km.) in area, you can see most of the main attractions in a week without travelling more than 500 miles (800 km.).
