Mormonism

Mormonism is also called the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It is related to Christianity and began in New York in the early 1800s. Then many Mormons went to the western US state of Utah. Mormons have four holy books, including the Bible and the Book of Mormon. Today there are 11 million Mormons in the world. The religion's headquarters are in Salt Lake City, the capital of Utah. More than 70 % of the people in Utah are Mormons. The church asks all young Mormon men to do missionary work.
